The Station is responsible for protecting life and property, and maintaining law and order within its jurisdiction. It also supervises officers in charge for police posts within its boundaries.
The Station is divided as follows:
i. Grade A Police Station;
ii. Grade B Police Station;
iii. Grade C Police Station; and
iv. Police Post.
A. Grade A Police Station
Grade A Police Station is headed by an Officer in Charge (Superintendent) who is assisted by one (1) Deputy Officer in Charge (Assistant Superintendent), one (1) Principal Criminal Investigations Officer (Assistant Superintendent), one (1) Principal Crime Intelligence Officer (Assistant Superintendent), one (1) Principal Traffic Officer (Assistant Superintendent), one (1) Community Services Officer (Chief Inspector), one (1) Front Desk Supervisor (Chief Inspector), one (1) Administration Officer (Chief Inspector), one (1) Station Operations Officer (Chief Inspector), one (1) Armourer (Inspector), and one (1) Officer In Charge, Police Post (Inspector).
B. Grade B Police Station
Grade B Police Station is headed by an Officer in Charge (Assistant Superintendent) who is assisted by one (1) Deputy Officer in Charge (Chief Inspector), one (1) Senior Criminal Investigations Officer (Chief Inspector), one (1) Senior Crime Intelligence Officer (Chief Inspector), one (1) Senior Traffic Officer (Chief Inspector), one (1) Community Services Officer (Inspector), one (1) Front Desk Supervisor (Inspector), one (1) Administration Officer (Inspector), one (1) Station Operations Officer (Inspector), one (1) Armourer (Inspector), one (1) Officer In Charge, Police Post (Inspector).
